The career project we did help me learn what I wanted to be when I grew up. We had to this website and pick three jobs we would like to do one day. After that I had to write a one page essay describing the jobs. I had to write what kind of education you need, how much it pays, and the job skills needed to do these jobs.

Music Videos

The music video project was really fun. My teacher pick about ten songs and let choose which one we wanted to do our video on. My group and me had picked a song and had to create a video descibing it. My teacher graded it on how well we did and how much the video match up with the song.

Madden Cover

The Madden cover was one the first project that I did in my class. On thjis project I had to use photoshop to make a football cover for Madden. The first thing that I had to do was find a picture of a football player, and then I had to go to Photoshop and erase the background. Next I had to choose a background that my teacher had for us and place the picture on the background.

Logos

Logos are pictures that describe or tells about an buisness. My teacher had a partner and me create a logo of whatever we wanted. My partner and me created a logo for Bulldog Productions. We create our in a software program called Serif Draw.

Tech Day

Tech Day is a day when technology students get together an compete in different areas to see who can win. I did my Tech Day project on,” Essays on Technology.” Every year there is a different topic and this topic was,” The Increasing World Population.” In my project I told how the world population is growing and the problems that are growing with it.

On this project we had to create a project telling the future of any topic you want to. I chose to do the Future of Cell Phones. I chose to do cell phones because they are used in are everyday life and they’re becoming so complex. The first thing that I had to was research, I look all over the Internet for information on this topic and there were many things that I found. Next I started on the PowerPoint and took a lot of hard work to get everything together and get it on there. Last I had to show my class my project, overall I think I did good.

Mousetrap Cars

The Mousetrap cars project that I did in class was really fun. I had to create a car that could actually move by using a mousetrap. First I started by taking some parts off the mousetrap that weren’t needed. Then I got some string and wheels and added then to the car and it was complete. The object of the project was to get I my car to move as close to a line without going over it, although my car didn’t win I think I did pretty good.

Game Maker

On the Game Maker project we had to create a maze that we had to play. First I started out by creating rooms for the game to be played in. Next I had to get a background to add the sprites( game characters) to. After that I added blocks to make the maze, and then I added invisble characters to the game that make you start over whenever you hit it. Last I added to more levels to the game, and then I played it.

Dragsters

Dragsters are cars that are raced to see which crosses the finish line first. When my class race dragsters my partner and I came in first place and our car got to compete at a higher level. First you have to get a block of wood and draw on the wood the way you wanted your dragster to be. Next I cut out the dragsters and sand it down to get it all smooth. Then I got some spray paint and painted the car. After that I raced my car and it won.

Garage Band

Garage band is a software that helps if you want to learn to play an instrument, write music, or record a song, GarageBand can help you do all of that. On this project I had to create a song from scratch. I did this by picking the instrument I wanted and then I drag it to the the box. I did this over and over until I had created a song.
